Seeking out therapy requires courage and a desire to change. I try to honor this courage by being present, warm, and responsive every time we meet.
I specialize in individual, couples, and group therapy and practice from an emotion-focused perspective. Antiracist and identity-affirming practice is very important to me.
Individual Therapy
I specialize in helping clients navigate:
- Relationship issues
- Concerns around sex and sexuality
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Trauma
- Identity conflicts
- Family of origin issues
Men’s mental health and demystifying therapy for marginalized folks, including LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, Latinx folks, leaders of color, and clients with chronic health conditions are areas of particular expertise.
Couples and Sex Therapy
I enjoy helping couples strengthen their relationships and am experienced working with a range of issues, including:
- Communication
- Emotional intimacy and trust
- Commitment issues
- Sex and sexuality
- Identity concerns
- Premarital and pre-commitment counseling
I’m experienced working with LGBTQIA+ and heterosexual couples, and with monogamous and ethically non-monogamous clients. I’m kink- and BDSM-affirmative.
Training and Experience
